"It Depends!"
An ethics refresher course for mental health professionals who know some things are gray and some things are not.
This course is facilitated by Kathryn Jargo, LPCC, and Jay Callahan, LPCC.
Participants will review ethical codes, professional standards and relevant state rules and statutes for the following MN licensing boards, paying particular attention to recent updates with social media and AI.
Participants will demonstrate knowledge and use of relevant professional, ethical guidelines, rules and statutes, and cultural competencies to guide ethical decision making processes. To be obtained through lecture, small group collaboration, and case study exploration/processing.
They will increase their awareness of individual areas of growth related to ethical practices and create action steps to support those goals.
